Meet Aldona

I have had many jobs in my life and all of them are about people. I have worked with children, and adults, be they disabled and able bodied. I have worked in theatres and even the Dome (02) when it first opened, working with the performers and everyone backstage. I love people and find everyone interesting.

I also love animals and would consider myself spiritual yet not religious as such. I like simplicity as well as showmanship. I love dance and drama, nature, art, photography and poetry. My main hobby is to learn. I started this hobby on leaving school and have only had one year where I didn’t learn anything, officially. My favourite courses have been Stage Make-Up, Playwriting and a group of us doing poetry and stories in a book that was published about Brentford, TW8.

I am presently married coming up to 25 years. I have a son at university and a daughter at a Special Needs School. Over the past 11 years I have been the Chair of Hounslow Parent Carers Forum, so have been involved with a lot to do with disability in my life.

I have now changed my career to encompass everything that I love about life. People, stories, poetry, pets and celebrating life, be it past or present, in a way that is important for the families who are giving me the chance to come into their lives and share their stories.
